 Savings Groups go digital in Uganda

Savings Groups have been transforming the lives of the poor since 2000. Groups meet regularly, deposit contributions to savings accounts, and take out small loans. At the end of the saving cycle, they receive a payout of the collective interest and fees collected.

Technology is now transforming these groups - as they go digital.
